2019-20: Finished his redshirt junior season with a 20-8 record, competing in open tournaments and three duals for the Tar Heels • Pinned American’s Connor Bourne in first dual meet start on January 4 • Defeated opponent from Cornell in team’s dual meet win on February 16 • Won three matches at the 2019 Midlands Championships • Won the Pembroke Classic and Newberry Open • Won five matches via fall on the season

2018-19: Posted a 7-17 record in his redshirt sophomore season with a 2-12 dual record at 157/165 • Won his first career dual match at Princeton against Dale Tiongson, an 11-5 decsion • Knocked off Pitt’s Curtis Decker in the dual against the Panthers to help UNC to an upset win • Finished third at the Pembroke Open • Went 0-2 at the ACC Championships

2017-18: Went 12-9 in his redshirt season at 149 pounds • Was the runner-up at the Pembroke Classic, winning three matches • Finished fourth at the App State Open • Beat No. 12 Solomon Chishko of Virginia Tech with a 4-2 decision.
