Casey Carrick, a member of the UNC Department of Athletics since June 2010, serves as Assistant Athletics Director for Facilities and Turf Management. In that role, he assists with the day-to-day operations of the athletic facilities, capital projects, renovations or improvements to UNC facilities. Carrick also oversees maintenance and renovation projects of 30 acres of athletic turf across the Tar Heel facilities.

He served as Associate Sports Turf Manager until 2016, when he moved to Director of Athletic Grounds & Turf Management. In 2023 Carrick was promoted to his current position.

Carrick earned a bachelor’s degree in turf grass science from NC State in 2006.

He and his wife, Anna, have two sons, Parks and Sutton.
