In 2023, he helped anchor an offense that ranked seventh nationally in total yards and blocked for the ACC’s leading rusher, Omarion Hampton.
Before Carolina, Gaynor spent five seasons at Miami, where he made 38 starts at center and guard. He was a multi-year team captain and earned ACC Offensive Lineman of the Week honors in 2020. Gaynor appeared in 66 career games, starting 64, and was known for his durability, leadership, and elite pass protection.
A native of Parkland, Fla., Gaynor starred at Stoneman Douglas High School, where he earned first-team all-state and all-county honors, while tallying 97 pancake blocks as a senior.
