Dalton Wainscott

Photography and Creative Assistant

Dalton Wainscott joined Carolina in July 2025 as the Photography and Creative Assistant. Before Carolina, Wainscott spent three years as the Team Photographer for Indiana Softball and Volleyball. He also served the photography needs for the other 22 sports teams. During his time with softball, he worked two Big Ten Championships and two regional appearances.
Wainscott worked with Kanas State Marketing and Communications Department where he was responsible for asset management, photographic services, studio portraiture. He also built interactive digital maps.

During his time in Manhattan, he was the Multimedia Editor for the Collegian Media Group where he lead a team of photographers and managed meetings, payroll and created the weekly assignment schedule.

Wainscott has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Indiana University and Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communications from Kansas State. While he was at Kansas State, he was part of the Men’s Rowing Club that advanced to the National Championship where he finished 2nd ahead of multiple varsity programs
