Dr. Travis Bryan

Dr. Travis Bryan joined the UNC sports medicine program full time in 2024. He is originally from Horsham, Pennsylvania, a small suburb outside of Philadelphia.
Bryan earned a B.S. in biology at DeSales University, where he also played collegiate basketball. He went on to attend medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Philadelphia campus. He completed family medicine residency and served as chief resident at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He then completed Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at UNC.
He is currently the head primary care physician for men's and women's track and field and cross country.
Bryan and his wife Alyson have two children, Jack and Lily.
