Franki Noble joined the UNC office of athletic communications in July 2026 as a communications and content coordinator. She coordinates media relations, social media and publicity for the Tar Heel cross country, track & field and fencing teams.
Prior to joining the Tar Heels, Noble served as a staff assistant for strategic communications at UCF. In her role, Noble led the media relations and publicity efforts for the rowing and men’s tennis programs. In the 2026 season, Noble served as the communications representative for the Big 12 Tennis Championship along with the first and second rounds of the NCAA Men’s Tennis Tournament at the USTA National Campus.
In her time on staff, Noble also promoted rowing’s second consecutive Big 12 title and qualification to the NCAA Championships. While working with rowing, Noble led the promotion of a total of six conference awards including back-to-back Head Coach of the Year nods for Mara Allen.
Before her appointment to the staff, Noble served as an intern for two years at UCF, spending extensive time assisting with football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball and men’s and women’s tennis. Throughout the 2024-25 season, she handled the day-to-day communication efforts for rowing, eventually traveling with the team to Sarasota, Fla., and promoting its historic Big 12 championship, the first outright team title for UCF in the conference. While at UCF, Noble graduated with her bachelor’s of science in visual communication in 2025.
Along with her work at UCF Athletics, Noble has substantial experience with multiple sports organizations across Florida. She has served as a match-day communications associate for Orlando City (MLS) and the Orlando Pride (NWSL) and as a social media lead with the Orlando Solar Bears (ECHL), where she primarily managed @OrlandoHockey on X on game days. In the summer of 2024, Noble worked with the award-winning PR staff at the Florida Panthers as a communications intern as the team won its first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
