Jema Reasoner began as a staff athletic trainer at UNC in the summer of 2025. Her primary clinical responsibilities are with women's gymnastics.
Before UNC, Reasoner was an athletic trainer with Auburn University working with the women's gymnastics team from 2024-25.
Originally from Collierville, Tenn., Reasoner played Division II athletics competing on the acrobatics and tumbling team at Gannon University. During her time at Gannon, she earned her B.S of exercise science in 2022 and her Masters of athletic training in 2024. During graduate school she had a variety of clinical rotations including soccer, lacrosse, football, wrestling and a rotation with the University of Florida women's gymnastics team in 2024.
She has been a NATABOC Certified Athletic Trainer since 2024.
