Keri Cleary joined the UNC swimming and diving program as Drector of Operations prior to the 2023–24 season. She brings valuable experience to the position, having previously worked as a coach, program coordinator, and billing specialist.
A former standout swimmer, Cleary was a four-year letterwinner at Simmons University, where she excelled as a multi-event conference champion and record holder. She earned conference Athlete of the Year honors three times and was recognized as Simmons University’s Athlete of the Year twice during her career. A two-time team captain, she was also honored with the Coaches Award as a sophomore for her leadership and commitment.
Originally from Chester, N.H., Cleary graduated from Simmons with a degree in exercise science. Away from the pool, she is an avid distance runner and has qualified for both the Boston and Chicago Marathons. She has two children, Carter and Elia.
