Sadie Gladden joined the Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes team in June 2023 and serves as a tutor coordinator/learning specialist.
Prior to Chapel Hill, Gladden served as an academic intern at Florida State University with Student-Athlete Academic Services, as well as an academic mentor at the University of Virginia with Cavalier Academic Support Team. During her time as an undergraduate student, Sadie worked in a variety of sectors of intercollegiate athletics at UNCW, serving as a Student-Athlete Support Services intern and a sports marketing intern.
Gladden earned her master’s degree in sport management at Florida State University in December 2022 and her bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport leadership and tourism management at the UNCW in May 2020.
Gladden is an active member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A), including the LGBTQA+ and the Learning Concerns and Enhancements committee.
As a North Carolina native, Gladden is proud to be a part of the Tar Heel community.
