Bailey Grabs 3rd ACC Rookie Of The Week Citation

GREENSBORO, N.C. – North Carolina freshman forward Janelle Bailey earned ACC Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season, as announced Monday afternoon by the conference office and voted upon by the Blue Ribbon Panel.
Bailey, from Matthews, North Carolina, scored 19 points on 7-of-8 shooting, and grabbed seven rebounds during a 90-78 victory over Washington on Sunday in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
The Tar Heels, winners of seven games in a row, face Grambling State on Tuesday at 2 p.m. UNC head coach Sylvia Hatchell is one victory shy of 1,000 in her illustrious Naismith Memorial Hall of Fame coaching career.
