'Holding Court' Radio Show Returns On Monday

Holding Court with Courtney Banghart, the weekly radio show spotlighting Carolina women's basketball, returns this month to kick off the 2023-24 season. The show, a production of the Tar Heel Sports Network from Learfield, will be hosted for the second consecutive season at the Sheraton Chapel Hill and is open to the public. Holding Court is presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina.

A total of 10 in-person shows will take place during the season, beginning next Monday, December 11th. After a break for the holiday season, the show will resume weekly on Tuesday, January 9th, and be held for the ensuing nine Tuesdays through March 5th. Each show features Coach Banghart and Matt Krause, radio play-by-play voice of Carolina women's basketball, discussing the Tar Heels and storylines surrounding the team. A special lunch menu, along with beverages, will be available for purchase.

All shows will begin at noon, and the full schedule is below.

Fans unable to attend the show can listen the next day as a podcast on the Tar Heel Voices Podcast Channel. The show is posted on the channel on Wednesday mornings, and episodes are archived for listening any time. Additionally, Holding Court airs on the flagship station of Carolina women's basketball, WCHL 97.9 FM/1360 AM, each week during the regular season and postseason starting in January, with the schedule posted below. A handful of special episodes will air as podcast exclusives in the coming weeks.
