CHAPEL HILL—The defending NCAA champion Tar Heels completed their 2017-18 preseason conditioning program early on Monday morning with the annual Carolina mile run. Carolina players have had the rest of the week off from team-related activities, resting up for the first day of practice on Monday.

• The 1993 NCAA champion Tar Heel squad gathered for a reunion last weekend to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Dean Smith's second national title. The team's players, coaches and staff gathered for a private dinner on Friday, and they were honored on the field during Saturday's football game against Duke in Kenan Stadium.  Here's a photo gallery from the evening.
