Heels Hold First Spring Scrimmage

Chapel Hill, NC -- The Blue squad rallied for three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to come from behind and post a 4-2 win over Navy in a 7.5 inning scrimmage on Friday afternoon at Boshamer Stadium. Dylan Enwiller and Ashton McGee had RBI singles while Kyle Datres added
a sacrifice fly to key the three-run inning.
Navy scored the first run of the scrimmage on Dallas Tessar's double in the second, then picked up another run in the sixth on Clemente Inclan's single. Blue scored its first run in the sixth on a Brandon Martorano double.
Michael Busch was 3-4 with one run scored while Dylan Enwiller was 2-3 with one RBI and two runs scored. Ashton McGee was the only other player with multiple base hits, going 2-4 with one RBI.
Rodney Hutchison and Brett Daniels got the starts, with Joey Lancellotti, Taylor Sugg and Josh Hiatt throwing in relief.
Carolina will hold its next closed scrimmage on Saturday.
