HEELS DROP CLOSE SERIES AGAINST FSU
The Heels dropped the series with Florida State 2-1. Friday saw the teams split a double header with the Heels taking the first game 16-8 before losing 6-3 in 10 innings in the night cap. The teams had Saturday off due to inclement weather. Florida State won Sunday's rubber match 9-4. Michael Busch led the way offensively, reaching base ten times during Friday's double header and driving in six runs on the weekend.
BUSCH'S BIG WEEKEND
• Busch is the current RBI leader in the NCAA with 37 on the year, three ahead of the next best. The last time a Tar Heel finished a season as the nation's RBI leader was 2013 when Colin Moran had 91 RBI for the year. Â
• Michael Busch homered twice, drove in six, scored four times and reached base 11 times against FSU. Busch hit .556, slugged 1.333, and posted an OBP of .750 in the series.
• Busch hit two two-run home runs in the series opener, the first time a Tar Heel has homered in back-to-back at bats since 2013 and the first multi-home run game since 2014.Â

• Over the last week, Busch is hitting .538 with a slugging percentage of 1.308 and leads the team in RBI (10), HR (3) and walks (6). He also has a career high 18 game reached base streak.
• Busch is tied for 4th in the ACC in HR and leads the country in RBI (37).
