NC STATE SERIES HISTORY
• Tuesday's game at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park against NC State will be the 298th meeting between the two schools.Â
• The series has been a tightly-contested one since it began in 1895, with the Heels holding a 164-132-1 edge.
• Last season, North Carolina won two out of three in the series in Chapel Hill and took the two's matchup in the ACC Championship, a 12-4 win. Brandon Riley led the way in the postseason clash, going 2-3 with three RBI.

UNC TAKES SERIES OVER UVA, FIRST TIME IN SIX YEARS
• After dropping the first game of the series, UNC rallied to win the Saturday double header by scoring 20 runs on 26 hits.Â
• The win was the Tar Heels third straight ACC series.
• This is the first time the Tar Heels have won a series in Charlottesville in six years.
