1931— Henry House Jr.: Football, Baseball (Weldon, N.C.)
Played on the football team from 1928 to 1930. Helped the Tar Heels go 9-1 in 1929 as the starting fullback. House was the catcher on the Tar Heel baseball team and played in the International League for Baltimore before injuries ended his baseball career. He received his master’s degree from UNC and his PhD in Education from Columbia University, returning to Chapel Hill to teach physical education. House also spent time as an assistant for the football and baseball programs.
