Volleyball Earns 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky – The AVCA announced Carolina volleyball as one of the recipients of the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award.

They earned the honor by maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale. This is the fifth time that the Tar Heels have earned the honor and the fourth year in a row being recognized for excellence in the classroom.

The Tar Heels are one of 11 programs in the ACC to receiving the distinction.
