FORT WORTH, Texas - The 58th-ranked North Carolina hung tough Saturday afternoon but still suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to 34th-ranked Texas Christian at the Bayard H. Friedman Tennis Center on the TCU campus in Fort Worth.
Carolina dropped its third successive match and fell in all three of its matches over spring break in Texas. Carolina will try to regroup this week when it travels to Montgomery, Ala. to play in the Blue-Gray Championships Thursday through Sunday.
