CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina softball program will sponsor clinics on Feb. 6th and 7th on the UNC campus in Chapel Hill.
Saturday's session will focus on hitting and bunting and features hands-on drills combined with informative lectures. The morning session, from 9 a.m. to noon, is for players age 10 through eighth grade. The afternoon session, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., is for players in ninth through 12th grades. The cost is $25 per player, with coaches admitted free.
Sunday's session is a workshop for pitchers and catchers and will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Pitchers and catchers will work separately for the first hour and the last two hours will focus on the battery. The clinic is a terrific opportunity to improve your pitcher/catcher relationship in preparation for the start of your school's season. The cost is $45 per player and includes an instructional packet. Coaches will be admitted free.
