Godwin & Moylan Make First-Team All-ACC

North Carolina's Tyrell Godwin and Dan Moylan both made the All-ACC first team, while teammates Jarrett Shearin, Chris LaMarsh and Derrick DePriest made the All-ACC second team.
Regular-season champion Florida St. placed four players on the first team and two more on the second, while tournament champion Wake Forest placed three players on the first team and one on the second team.
The teams are selected by the conference's nine head coaches.
Godwin led UNC in hitting with .375 batting average that included seven home runs and 56 RBI. The speedy left fielder stole 26 bases in 33 attempts. Moylan had a .338 batting average to go with a .500 on base percentage. Moylan, who led the Heels in walks with 67, had 17 stolen bases.
The slick-fielding Shearin tied Godwin for the team lead in stolen bases with 26 while batting .317. Shearin had nine assists from his center field position. LaMarsh hit .356 to go with his .489 on base percentage. The 6-8 DePriest's 1.85 ERA led the UNC staff. DePriest was 6-5 with seven saves in 34 appearances on the mound.
