CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina wrestling team took an early lead and never looked back in taking a 30-15 victory over Appalachian State University Wednesday night. The win lifted UNC to 3-4 overall while Appalachian fell to 3-6.
As the result of a random draw, the 197-pound match was the first of the night with UNCs Clint Osborn taking a 10-2 victory over Geoff McIntosh.
