Greensboro, N.C. -- North Carolina midfielder Michael Bucy has claimed this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors after leading the Tar Heel's to a 2-0 record in last week's play.

ucy, a senior from Raleigh, N.C., scored three goals and tallied one assist for a total of seven points as North Carolina defeated Elon 5-0 and Wake Forest 4-1. In the game against the Demon Deacons, Bucy had the best offensive performance of his career, recording his first career hat trick.

Carolina returns to action on Sunday afternoon at South Carolina in its regular season finale.
