Heels Top Penn St. 21-10 In Opener

Chapel Hill, N.C. -- Ryan Earey drove in a career-high seven runs and Eric Henderson (1-0) struck out eight batters in five innings of work as the North Carolina Tar Heels took a wild 21-10 win over Penn St. at Boshamer Stadium.
Earey homered twice on the day, including a grand-slam in an eight-run first inning. Carolina led 19-2 before Penn St. rallied for four runs in both the seventh and ninth innings.
