UNC Men's Tennis Team Hosts Davidson

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina men's tennis player Tripp Phillips was ranked No. 56 in the nation by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on March 1. Phillips, the team's No. 1 seed in both singles and doubles, has an overall record of 6-3, including 4-2 in dual-match play.
The men's team, which did not play any matches last week, dropped one slot in the rankings, from 47 to 48.
The men's team will host Davidson in a 2:30 p.m. match on Thursday to open their outdoor season. The Tar Heels were 4-2 in indoor dual-match competition.
