Tar Heel Tennis Team to Host Wake Forest

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The University of North Carolina men's tennis team will try to extend its five-game winning streak as it hosts Wake Forest in a 2:30 p.m. match on Thursday, March 23, at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
The Tar Heels won two big matches last week, over South Carolina and Florida State, to improve to 8-2 overall and 1-0 in the ACC. The wins helped the team jump from No. 44 to No. 28 in the national rankings, as administered by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Wake Forest is 6-5 overall and has lost its last four matches. The team is ranked No. 64 by the ITA.
The Heels will also play on Saturday, hosting No. 23 Notre Dame in a 1 p.m. match at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Center.
