Duke-UNC Baseball Game Cancelled

Friday's Atlantic Coast Conference baseball matchup between North Carolina and Duke has been cancelled due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday at Duke's Jack Coombs Field beginning at noon.
Carolina, 37-11 overall, 9-10 in the ACC, won Thursday's series-opener 16-1. Ryan Earey knocked in six runs and had two homers, while Russ Adams was 4-for-6 at the plate as the Tar Heels dropped Duke to 14-34 on the season with the road win. Ryan Snare pitched seven strong innings to move to 8-1 in 2000.
Chris Elmore (6-1) will take the mound for Carolina in Saturday's first game, while Earey (4-1) is scheduled to start for the Tar Heels in the late game.
