Carolina Volleyball Falls To South Carolina, 3-1

The UNC volleyball team finished its regular season Saturday afternoon with a 1-3 (32-30, 29-31, 22-30, 25-30) loss to No. 23 South Carolina in Columbia, S.C.
The Tar Heels (23-8, 12-4 ACC) were led by Nicole Reis with 21 kills. Eve Rackham led the Tar Heels in assists with 57, while Molly Pyles led Carolina in digs with 15.
The Gamecocks (20-5, 10-4 SEC) were led by Nadia Sefferovich and Niece Curry with 15 kills. Megan Hosp led USC with assists with 60.
The Tar Heels earned an automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament with their ACC Tournament title last weekend and will find out this Monday at 3 p.m. where they will play. NCAA first round action begins Thurs., Nov. 29.
