Carolina Wrestlers Defeat Duke, 35-3

The North Carolina wrestling team defeated Duke, 35-3, Tuesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham. With the win, the Tar Heels improve to 6-4 overall, 3-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference, while Duke falls to 11-6, 0-2 in the ACC.
Sophomore Chris Collins and junior JohnMark Bentley led the way for the Tar Heels, registering pins in the 125 and 149-pound classes, respectively. Bentley is now to 23-1 overall for the season.
With the win, North Carolina added one point to their Carlyle Cup points total. The Tar Heels currently lead the competition 18.5-2.5 over Duke.
The Tar Heels next face Navy on Saturday, Feb. 10, in Annapolis, Md.
