Men's Soccer Team to be Honored Thursday Night

CHAPEL HILL -- The 2001 Carolina men's soccer team will be honored at halftime of Thursday night's men's basketball game between the Tar Heels and Duke.
Members of the 2001 NCAA Men's College Cup championship team, along with coaches, trainers and support personnel, will be introduced to the Smith Center crowd.
The Tar Heel men tied a school record by winning 21 games on the way to capturing the first national championship in the program's history in 2001. Bolowich guided the Tar Heels to the top spot in the NSCAA/adidas Division I men's poll with a 21-4-0 record.
