*One of the most gifted women's soccer players in NCAA history. Had an uncanny nose for the goal.
*As a senior she was named the National Player of the Year by Soccer Buzz Internet magazine and Soccer News magazine. She was also a finalist for the 1997 Hermann Trophy and a semifinalist for the 1997 Missouri Athletic Club Sports Foundation Player of the Year award.
*Established a school record for games played in a career with 107 appearances from 1994-97. Never missed a game in her four-year Carolina career.
*Shares Carolina record for most games played and most games started in a season with 28 in 1997.
*Ranks fourth in Carolina history in total points with 209. Is the fifth best goal scorer in Tar Heel history with 77 tallies. Her 55 assists are the third most in Tar Heel women's soccer lore.
*Her 62 points in 1997 tied for ninth most in a season in Carolina history.
*Her 22 assists in 1997 were the fifth most in a season in Tar Heel history. Her 18 assists in 1995 tied for the ninth most in a single campaign in Carolina history.
*Most Valuable Offensive Player of the 1997 NCAA Tournament.
*Scored some huge goals in the NCAA Tournament for Carolina during the 1997 season. She scored a goal late in the second half to lift UNC to a 2-1 NCAA semifinal win over Santa Clara. Two days later, she scored the insurance goal in the Tar Heels 2-0 NCAA championship game victory over UConn.
*A first-team All-America selection in 1997 by Soccer America, Soccer News and Soccer Buzz and Soccer Times; was named a second team All-America in 1997 by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. In 1996, she was named a second-team All-America by Soccer Buzz and Soccer News. In 1995, she was a Soccer News second-team All-America. As a freshman in 1994, she was a third-team Soccer News All-America.
*Scored 27 game-winning goals in her career, a Carolina school record.
*Her 11 game-winning goals in 1995 are the most by any Tar Heel player in a single season.
*Played on the U.S. Women's National Team from 1996-98, seeing action in eight games, scoring one goal.
*First-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection in 1995 and 1997 and second team All-ACC choice in 1994 and 1996.
*Most Valuable Player of the 1996 Atlantic Coast Conference Tournament.
*Played on four ACC championship teams for Carolina.
*Led Tar Heels to NCAA championships in 1994, 1996 and 1997.
