Swimming Teams Announce 2002-03 Captains

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Two women and three men have been named as captains of the 2002-03 University of North Carolina swimming and diving teams in a vote of their teammates.
Janna Turner, a junior from Raleigh, N.C., will return as one of the co-captains of the women's squad for a second straight year. She was a co-captain of UNC's 2002 ACC championship team. Turner will be joined as captain next season by sophomore Jessi Perruquet from Danville, Pa. Perruquet is a two-time first-team All-America selection.
The men have elected tri-captains for next season. This troika includes junior breaststroker Sean Quinn of Lancaster, S.C., junior freestyler Stephen Mohr of Mequon, Wis., and senior diver Stephen Krebs of Annandale, Va.
Quinn is a two-time All-America at Carolina while Mohr has twice qualified for the NCAA Championships. An All-ACC diver, Krebs it the first diver to captain the Tar Heels since Joe Craft in 1994-95.
