Junior forward Jawad Williams will not play and sophomore center/forward Sean May is questionable for North Carolina's basketball game against Coastal Carolina on Tuesday, December 30th.
May's status for the game will be determined Tuesday.
Williams suffered a mild concussion about 90 seconds into Sunday's game as he was elbowed in the jaw accidentally by a UNC Wilmington player. Williams left the game less than a minute before May went down with a left ankle injury, while going for an offensive rebound.

oth players returned to action later in the game. May played 12 minutes and went scoreless with four rebounds. Williams played 22 minutes and had 12 points and a game-high eight rebounds.
For the season, Williams leads the Tar Heels in scoring with 18.1 points per game and is second with 8.1 rebounds per game. May is third in scoring at 16.1 points and leads UNC with 10.4 rebounds per contest.
Williams is third in the ACC in scoring and fifth in rebounding; May is second in the league in rebounding and sixth in scoring.
