Carolina and Virginia Game Delayed To Sunday

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- The University of North Carolina softball team's head coach Donna Papa has announced that the Virginia games will move from Saturday, April 12 to Sunday, April 13 at the UNC Softball Complex. The game time for the Atlantic Coast Conference matchup will be at 1 p.m. The game was delayed to give the field more time to dry due to the severe amount of rain over the last three days. The 2003 Carolina Blue Thunderbird will be raffled off on Sunday in between games.
UNC will travel to Elon for a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday, April 15. The games are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. All home games are free admission at the Complex.
