Alumni Gathering is Next Weekend

Chapel Hill -- On October 29-31 the UNC men's soccer program will hold its Annual Alumni Weekend in Chapel Hill. The weekend will kick off with a fundraising golf outing on Friday October 29, 2004 and will end on Sunday October 31st after the UNC vs. Wake Forest soccer game. Please come and join us for a weekend full of great friends, great soccer, great golf and the support of a great cause.
Men's soccer, along with all other UNC varsity sports, is part of the $1.8 billion University-wide campaign. We are committed to raising $1,000,000 over the next few years to subsidize the men's soccer operating budget. All proceeds from the outing will be counted as part of the overall goal of raising $1,000,000 for the soccer endowment. Although the goal is lofty, the funds raised will help ensure our program's ability to compete at the highest level possible in the conference and nation. This is why we need your help!
Alumni Weekend Agenda:
Friday October 29th, 2004 from 9am-4pm (Tee-off at 10:00am)
1st Annual Men's Soccer Fundraising Golf Outing
Place: Finley Golf Course, Chapel Hill, NC
Donation: $250.00 per player (includes golf, UNC embroidered soccer Nike golf shirt, prizes, gifts and catered reception at McCaskill Soccer Center)
Saturday October 30, 2004
Alumni Soccer Game 10am - Noon
Place: Finley Soccer Fields
Alumni Banquet- (featuring a silent auction) 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Place: Squids
UNC vs. Miami Football Game - 7pm
Place: Kenan Football Stadium
Sunday October 31, 2004
UNC vs. Wake Forest Soccer Game - 2pm
Place: Fetzer Soccer Field
