Evans has made strong contributions as a freshman, as she is second on the team in stolen bases with six and fourth in batting average (.263) and RBI's (10).
UNC has faced one of their opponents this weekend before, as they beat Troy State 6-1 in the consolation championship of the FSU Invitational. In that game, senior Natashalyn Snipes led the way by going 3-4 with two RBI's and a stolen base.
