Marck Posts Career Best In 100-Yard Butterfly

WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. - The North Carolina women's swimming team had four swimmers compete on the second day of the 2005 NCAA Division I Championships at Purdue University. Freshman Lindsey Marck had the outstanding swim of the day for North Carolina as she clocked a career best for herself in the 100-yard butterfly by going 54.20 seconds in the event. Marck finished 23rd in the event.
Freshman Kelly Woodruff swam in the 400-yard individual medley where she placed 37th with a time of 4:24.21.
Senior Virginia Hanson was 50th in the 200-yard freestyle at 1:51.13.
Junior Lizzy Bruce placed 43rd in the 200-yard breaststroke in 1:04.39.
