Carolina Quartet Honored By Southeastern Baseball

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - North Carolina pitchers Robert Woodard and Andrew Miller, as well as first baseman Chad Flack and shortstop Josh Horton, were named to SEBaseball.com's All-Atlantic Coast Conference team, which was announced Sunday.
Woodard, who is 7-0 with a 2.38 ERA, earned first-team honors, while Miller, Flack and Horton all claimed second-team accolades. Miller is 8-2 with a 2.79 ERA, while Flack is hitting .342 with a UNC rookie record 14 home runs and 45 RBI, while Horton leads the team with a .376 average, two home runs and 34 RBI.
The official all-conference team will be announced tonight at the ACC pre-tournament banquet in Jacksonville, Fla. The fifth-seeded Tar Heels (40-15-1) open the tournament versus No. 4 seed Florida State at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville.
