Gullan, Heinrich, Stone Lead Tar Heels into Main Draw Singles

Chapel Hill, N.C. - Lenny Gullan, Tristan Heinrich and David Stone advanced through two rounds of singles qualifying on Wednesday to earn berths in the Main Draw of the Wilson/ITA Mideast Indoor Championships at the University of North Carolina. Nine Tar Heels will play first round Main Draw matches on Thursday at the Cone-Kenfield Indoor Tennis Center.
Gullan had the toughest road in Qualifying Wednesday, coming from a set down to beat Charlotte's Ryan Johnson. In the qualifying round, Gullan lost only one game to FSU's Michael O'Shea.
The first round (rd. of 96) of singles will be played on Thursday at 8:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12 Noon. The first two round of doubles will be played Thursday afternoon and evening beginning at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
