CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Tar Heel soccer fans are encouraged to come early to Friday's nationally televised men's game between No. 3 Carolina and No. 2 Maryland at 8 p.m. Fetzer Field, as Chapel Hill-Carrboro Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a free pregame soccer fan fest on the intramural fields in front of the entrance to Fetzer beginning at 6:45 p.m.
Fans will be able to participate in free soccer-themed activities and there will be inflatable attractions for young Tar Heel fans to enjoy. Additionally, WCHL AM-1360 will be on site at the fan fest.
