Baseball Radio Broadcasts Begin This Weekend

Carolina heads to Atlanta this weekend for an important Atlantic Coast Conference series at Georgia Tech. Fans in Chapel Hill and across the nation will be able to catch every pitch through the combined efforts of WCHL 1360 and Carolina All-Access on TarHeelBlue.com.
Jones Angell, in his seventh season calling baseball for the Tar Heels, will handle the play-by-play. He will be joined in the broadcast booth by Adam Lucas.
Friday night's first pitch against the Jackets will come at 7 p.m. Saturday's game is also a 7 p.m. start. Both of those games will be aired live on WCHL. Sunday's game, a 1 p.m. start, will be on the internet only due to a conflict with the women's basketball NCAA Tournament contest. This year's broadcast schedule includes 34 regular season games plus every ACC and NCAA Tournament contest.
