Former Tar Heel player Orlando Melendez, who played at Carolina from 1997-2001, is embarking on a professional basketball career -- with the Harlem Globetrotters. The forward was a part of Final Four teams at Carolina in 1998 and 2000 and is the first Puerto Rican to play for the famed Globetrotters.
