CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 12 North Carolina will play its first Atlantic Coast Conference match in two weeks Friday when rival Virginia comes to Fetzer Field. The Tar Heels (8-1-1, 1-1-0 ACC) and Cavaliers (5-3-0, 2-0-0 ACC) will square off at 7 p.m. with a live webcast on ACC Select.
Since dropping its first match of the season at Boston College Sept. 19, Carolina has reeled off three straight wins at home by a 12-2 margin. Last time out, the Tar Heels topped UNC Asheville, 2-1, behind goals from Cameron Brown and Alex Dixon.
Virginia also has three consecutive wins by an 11-1 margin, including ACC victories over NC State and Virginia Tech. The Cavaliers have not played since a Sept. 26 win over the Hokies.

UNC has scored 27 goals, while Virginia has netted 20.
