On Matt Harvey's performance...
"Matt was sensational tonight and you can see why he was so highly touted out of high school. He's been like that for us through the year just small stretches...an inning here, or three or four innings there and then he's lost command of his fastball but, tonight he was from the first inning on through the eighth, he had great control and his change up was good early and he was sensational tonight."
On getting a team ready to play as late as 10 pm... "We go, go, go during the regular season so the sitting around the hotel is something new for them. You don't know how you kids handle it. I think they're enjoying it but then you wonder if they're ready. We have to be ready to play when they say and both teams are doing the same thing."

On his performance...
"I was able to get ahead with the fast ball, that definitely helped me setting up the other pitches. I just tried to go out there and do something I hadn't done since the beginning of the season...just go out there and give our fielders a chance to field and luckily it was working pretty well."
On being in the zone... "You just have to stay focused and keep everything you have from the beginning of the game. It's a lot of fun going out there but it also takes a lot out of you. Definitely staying mentally focused is something you have to stay concentrated on."
