UNC-Wilmington's Bradley Holt fired in the first pitch at 2:00 p.m. this afternoon. The home Seahawks, dressed in all white including their cleats, face off against the visiting Elon Phoenix. The Phoenix spiced things up in the first half inning in a failed attempt to steal home. The opening game of the Cary Regional should feature a pitching duel as both Holt and Elon starter Brad Hensley post records of 10-1.
