Elon has recorded back-to-back 1-2-3 innings and continues to add hits leading Mt. Saint Marys 3-1. Center fielder Chris Dove ended the fourth inning after he was caught stealing on his 53rd attempt on the season. Dove leads the Phoenix with 38 steals this season. Third baseman Zach Helman, who homered last night, leads off to start the fifth. It is a partly cloudy day in Cary, NC as the temperature is approaching a sultry 90 degrees.
