Warren Grabs Academic All-District Accolades Again

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina junior right-hander Adam Warren has earned a spot on the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III Second Team for the second straight season, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday.
Warren, a business administration major from New Bern, N.C., owns a 3.28 grade point average. The Tar Heels' normal Saturday starter is 7-1 with a 4.70 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 51 2/3 innings this season and is 20-1 in his career to rank as the school and Atlantic Coast Conference career leader with a .952 winning percentage.
In addition to his back-to-back Academic All-District selections, Warren is a two-time member of the Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll and a Dean's List student at Carolina.
