CHICAGO - U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team head coach Thomas Rongen has named 18 players, including North Carolina freshmen Kirk Urso and Sheanon Williams, to travel to Northern Ireland for the 2008 Milk Cup later this month.
Of the 18, 11 players were part of the roster for the team's most recent match, a border battle with Mexico that the U.S. won, 3-0. Peri Marosevic scored twice in that game while Brandon Manzonelli set up two goals from corner kicks. Goalkeeper Brian Perk and defenders Richard Balchan, Ike Opara, Anthony Wallace and Carolina's Williams, who tallied the game winner, led the team to a shutout.
