Carolina improved to 10-0 all-time against Florida State in ACC Tournament games against the Seminoles with Sunday's 3-0 win.
UNC is now 5-0 against Florida State in ACC championship matches.
Carolina won the ACC Tournament as a No. 3 seed for the second time. They also won as the No. 3 seed in 2000. Carolina won as the No. 2 seed in 1994. The other 17 championships won by Carolina came as a No. 1 seed. NC State won as a No. 2 seed in 1988 and Virginia won as a No. 2 seed in 2004.
UNC improved to 57-0-3 all-time in ACC Tournament games. UNC has outscored its opponents 200-29 in ACC Tournament matches.
Carolina has not allowed a goal in the past 729 minutes and 59 seconds of ACC Tournament play. The last team to score a goal against the Tar Heels in the ACC Tournament was Virginia. The Cavaliers scored at the 22:15 mark of the ACC Tournament semifinal game played on November 9, 2007.
UNC is now 17-0-1 in ACC Tournament games played at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C.

UNC improved to 22-2-2 all-time against the Seminoles.
Sunday's win broke a two-game non-winning streak for UNC against FSU.
The win helped keep UNC's seniors as the winningest senior class in women's soccer this year. The Tar Heels are now 88-9-4 over the last four years. Notre Dame is second at 87-10-4.
With her second goal Sunday, Casey Nogueira tallied the 3,000th goal in North Carolina soccer history. In 748 games, UNC has outscored its opponents 3,001 to 357, a margin of 2,644 goals. UNC has averaged 4.013 goals per game in the 748 games played in its history.
Carolina is now 3-0 as the lower-seeded team in ACC Tournament matches in its history. Carolina went 2-0 as a lower-seeded team in the 2009 ACC Tournament.
UNC has now recorded five shutouts in a row. UNC has not allowed a goal in the past 472 minutes and three seconds. The last goal allowed by UNC came on October 25, 2009 when Beverly Goebel of Miami scored at 80:11 of the match in a 1-0 Hurricane win over Carolina.
