Tar Heels Tweak Weekend Baseball Schedule

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Due to the possibility that both North Carolina and Duke could be playing NCAA men's basketball tournament second-round games later in the day Saturday, the Tar Heels and Blue Devils will play game two of their weekend baseball series at 2 p.m. Saturday at Boshamer Stadium.
The contest was originally scheduled for 4 p.m.
"Since there is a chance that both Carolina and Duke could be playing NCAA tournament games later Saturday, we wanted to give fans of both schools the chance to enjoy both exciting events," said UNC head coach Mike Fox. "We had to make this decision early in the week to give our operations staff enough time to make proper preparations."
The Tar Heels and Blue Devils will open the three-game series at 7 p.m. Friday followed by games at 2 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are available for purchase at TarHeelBlue.com.
