COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Clay Donato and Taylor Fogleman's run in the NCAA Doubles Tournament ended Sunday with a loss to a familiar foe.
Virginia's Dominic Inglot and Michael Shabaz beat UNC's duo 4-6, 6-4, 6-4. Each pair won two of four meetings this season.
Donato and Fogleman posted a record of 36-9 in doubles this season, and also were named All-ACC. Fogleman, whose career at North Carolina is now complete, finished with 100 career doubles victories. Donato will begin next season with 74 career doubles wins.
